It was a record setting year for the race with mild tempuratures and the largest number of racers since its inception. The race directors did an awesome job putting on a quality event and raising money for a great cause. The 5k ranged from runners blazing in with fantastic times to runners attempting thier first 5K. No matter what the finish times, everyone finished with a smile. We were then treated to a true sporting event as the kids 12 and under showed us "how to get it done" in the 1 mile run. I saw several adults shaking thier heads as they contemplated these pint size road runners moving up to the 5k next year. Mark your calenders for the first Saturday in August 2015 you don't want to miss it!
