Sheltered place to run

Looking for a shelterd place to run outdoors as the weather turns cold? Try Martha's Songbird Sanctuary on Fort Sill. It is located just south of the Patriot Club. The gravel paths aren't very long but they are sheltered from the wind and you can vary your course due the number of different routes through the area. I'll try to ride it in the near future and get some distance measurements.

2010 Bad Medicine 5.5K

The 2010 Bad Medicine 5.5K in Medicine Park last Saturday went off without a hitch!  The weather was chilly, but CASA had a great turnout and the race went fantastic!  The Jaguar Chip Timing System worked without flaw, picking up all runners precisely, even those who wore their numbers (with disposable chip attached) on their backs or inside their jackets!

The runners were thrilled with the course and everyone said they'd be back next year!  A terrific event for all runners, both novice and expert!
